Installation & Care

SHAPESCAPER® Tiered Ring Planters are supplied pre-rolled for straightforward installation.

• Prepare the location: Select a firm, level area with suitable drainage beneath the planter.
• Position the sections: Arrange the main ring and two smaller nested sections in the intended stepped configuration.
• Check alignment: Ensure the sections are correctly positioned and stable before filling.
• Prepare for planting: Use appropriate soil or growing media for your selected plants.
• Fill and plant: Plant each level with suitable varieties, considering their mature size, sunlight and watering requirements.
• Allow natural weathering: REDCOR® steel gradually develops its characteristic rust-coloured patina when exposed to alternating wet and dry conditions.

Important: Install on a suitable, free-draining surface and consider the weight of soil and plants when selecting the location. Weathering steel runoff may stain nearby paving, concrete or other finished surfaces during patina development.
