Manufactured in Australia using premium BlueScope® REDCOR® weathering steel, SHAPESCAPER® D-Ring Planters combine exceptional strength, durability and contemporary design. Their distinctive half-round shape features a straight rear edge, making them ideal for positioning against walls, fences and other flat vertical surfaces.

REDCOR® weathering steel is specifically designed for Australian conditions. Over time, the steel develops a natural oxide layer, known as a patina, that produces a rich, rustic appearance while helping protect the underlying steel from further corrosion. Each planter is backed by a 10-year structural warranty.

The D-shaped design combines the soft, flowing appearance of curved steel with a practical straight edge, creating an attractive raised planting area without the space requirements of a full circular planter. Installation & Care

SHAPESCAPER® D-Ring Planters are designed for installation against a suitable flat vertical surface, creating a raised planting area with a distinctive curved front.

• Prepare the location: Select a firm, level area with suitable drainage and a stable surface behind the planter.
• Position the planter: Align the straight rear edge against the intended wall or boundary, ensuring the planter is level and correctly positioned.
• Check stability: Ensure the planter is appropriately supported and installed according to the requirements of the location.
• Prepare for planting: Provide suitable drainage and growing media for your selected plants.
• Fill and plant: Add appropriate soil or growing media, allowing for settlement and watering.
• Allow natural weathering: REDCOR® steel gradually develops its characteristic rust-coloured patina when exposed to alternating wet and dry conditions. The final appearance and rate of weathering will vary depending on environmental conditions.

Important: When installing against walls, paving or other finished surfaces, allow for drainage and the possibility of staining from weathering steel runoff. Confirm any fixing or support requirements before filling with soil.
