Installation & Care

St Elmos Firewood Stacking Rings are designed for wall mounting using the welded 50mm eyelets incorporated into the steel frame.

• Select a suitable wall: Ensure the supporting wall or structure is capable of safely carrying the weight of the ring plus a full load of firewood or decorative items.
• Position the ring: Determine the preferred mounting height and location, allowing adequate clearance for loading and access.
• Secure the ring: Use appropriate heavy-duty bolts and fixings suitable for the wall construction. Mounting bolts are not supplied.
• Check stability: Ensure all mounting points are securely fastened before loading the ring.
• Allow natural weathering: REDCOR® steel develops its characteristic rust-coloured patina through exposure to alternating wet and dry conditions.

Important: These rings are extremely heavy, even when empty. Installation must be carried out using suitable structural fixings, with the load-bearing capacity of the supporting wall confirmed before installation. Seek professional installation advice where required.

Weathering steel runoff may stain nearby paving, walls and other finished surfaces during patina development.
