Initiator® Tablets combine a high-quality fertiliser with a systemic insecticide to deliver long-lasting protection and enhanced plant growth. Designed for containerised, newly planted, and established plants, the tablets are easy to use—simply place them in the soil near the roots, with no mixing or spraying required.

Each tablet contains 80% fertiliser and 20% imidacloprid, delivering nutrients directly to the root zone while providing up to 12 months of protection from a wide range of common sucking insect pests. Initiator® is particularly effective on aphids, psyllids (including Lilly Pilly pests), azalea lace bug, scale, mealybugs, and scarab beetles such as African black beetle and spring beetle.

Safe for beneficial predatory insects, Initiator® allows precise, targeted pest control without affecting surrounding fauna. It's the ideal choice for promoting healthy, vigorous plants while eliminating the need for frequent chemical sprays.

Notes regarding the use of Imidacloprid This chemical can be harmful to bees. Imidacloprid is taken up through the plant and may move into flowers where bees collect pollen. This can affect their natural navigation and may prevent them from returning to their hives. Use this product only when needed, avoid overspraying, apply when bees are less active and DO NOT spray plants in bud or flower.
