Richgro Bug Killa is a systemic granular insecticide for protecting roses and other ornamental plants from sucking insects and scarab beetle larvae for at least two months.

For Control Of:

Azalea lace bug, aphids, mealybugs, scale insects and scarab beetle larvae.

Suitable For:

Roses, azaleas, magnolias, gardenias and other ornamental plants in pots or in the ground.

How it Works:

Imidacloprid is absorbed through the roots and moves through the plant to control feeding pests systemically.

When to Apply:

Apply when susceptible pests are active. Reapply only if reinfestation occurs and do not apply more than twice in a 12-month period.

How to Use:

Remove mulch and dead vegetation, moisten the soil, distribute the measured granules evenly over the soil or drip zone and water immediately. Avoid overwatering and leaching.

Application Rate:
Potted ornamentals 2.5g for ten 3L pots; 5g for ten 6L pots; or 10g for one 20L pot
In-ground ornamentals up to 1m high 10g per plant
Plants over 1m high Add 6g per plant for each additional metre of height
Coverage:
250g pack Treats up to approximately 500 small plants at the lowest rate
1kg pack Treats up to approximately 2,000 small plants at the lowest rate
Active Constituents:
70g/kg imidacloprid
Notes regarding the use of Imidacloprid This chemical can be harmful to bees. Imidacloprid is taken up through the plant and may move into flowers where bees collect pollen. This can affect their natural navigation and may prevent them from returning to their hives. Use this product only when needed, avoid overspraying, apply when bees are less active and DO NOT spray plants in bud or flower.
Apply according to the bottle directions for effective control.
