Scotts Lawn Builder™ Lawn Grub + Insect Slow Release Fertiliser is especially formulated to kill most common grub and insect pests found in lawns whileprovidingdeep uniform greening. This is the 'set and forget' solution to having a great lawnall year round, this product includesour slow release fertiliser that feeds lawns for up to 10 weeks.
Benefits:
- May be safely used on all types of lawn including buffalo, kikuyu and couch varieties as well as lawn alternatives
- Low toxicity pest control withnew technology chemical bifenthrin, which is an active insecticidethat is of minimal risk to humans and domestic pets when used as per label instructions
- Boosted iron content promotes deeper greenand stronger growth. The thicker the lawn, the less chance weeds have of taking hold - they're smothered before they become obvious and need treatment
- Slow-release of nutrients through controlled feeding eliminates waste through run-off and leaching and prevents burningand surge growth
- Traditional lawn foods release or 'dump' most of their nutrients within a couple of weeks of application, causing a rapid surge in growth that quickly drops off again as the food supply diminishes. Scotts Lawn Builder™ uses patented time-release technology to ensure nutrients are released slowly and continuously over a three month period
- Lawn Grub + Insect Control has no phosphorus (P), which means it can be safely used anywhere in Australia including WA, which has a 1% P limit for lawn fertilisers
- The recommended application rate is a low 14 grams per m2, not the kilograms often associated with regular lawn foods!

HOW IT WORKS
Lawn Grub + Insect Slow Release Fertiliser contains bifenthrin, a highly effective contact poison that controls a broad range of lawn pests
Scotts Lawn Builder™ is a slow-release fertiliser that provides continuous nutrition over a three month period
Every granule of Lawn Grub + Insect Slow Release Fertiliser contains Scotts patented time-release nitrogen
Nutrients are released at about the same rate that grass roots can take up the fertiliser so there is no wastage, run-off to waterways or damaging surge growth
HOW TO USE
How much will I need?
Extreme Green has a recommended application rate of 14g/m2
To work out how much you will need to fertilise your lawn:
Calculate the area of the lawn in square metres (multiply the length by the width)
The area multiplied by the application rate will give the exact amount of Scotts Lawn Builder™ you need
Use a set of scales to weigh it out and then add it to the spreader ready to apply - do not be tempted to add a 'bit extra for luck' because over-application may result in nitrogen burning

1/2 Tennis court 130m2
Full tennis court 260m2
How do I apply it?
For best results ALWAYS use a Scotts spreader
Check your model and make sure to set it correctly before you start (settings are also on the back label of the product)
If you don't have a spreader, make sure you distribute the fertiliser evenly over the lawn - uneven applications may result in 'hot spot' burning where too much has landed in one spot

EasyGreen Rotary Spreader | 29
HandyGreen Easy Handheld Spreader | 5
WHEN TO USE
Apply Lawn Grub + Insect Slow Release Fertiliser when insect pests are first noticed in the lawn OR apply as part of your regular lawn maintenance program
Follow-up treatment may be required when pests are present in high numbers but wait for at least three weeks after the first application to observe how well it has worked before considering a further application
Avoid feeding lawns in cooler regions in Winter:
- The release of nutrients from granules is controlled by temperature
- In Winter when soil temperatures are low and lawn growth is extremely slow in many areas, the granules will simply 'sit' there
